When we got married last year we paid a photographer £500 to come for the day and take photos, provide us with the cd of photos to choose from and then make a album out of the 80- photos we choose. He turned up on the day (aoltho he was very pushy and rude - not friendly at all!) and when we got back from honeymoon he gave us the disk with the photos on to choose from. When we watched the cd it turned out it only had half the photos on and seemed to stop at the church when we said our vows. Anyway he informed him and he said there was a problem with the memory card he used and he had to get in touch with the file retrieval comapny to retrive the photos which should take 7 days. The last time we heard from him was October last yr. Ive tried numerous times to contact him with no avail.

I lodged a compaint with the consumer direct in Jan but dyue to me having Alfie and then the death of Gavs mam it got put on a back burner. Now its been brewing over in my head and im fuming now. No weay am I gonna let him get away with that. I either want my photos or my money (and compo). Its alot of money to be paying for nothing - plus them photos were the last pohotos taken of gavs mam before she passed away.

Spoke to comsumer direct this morning and he said as a consumer ice got right to lodge a compaint for 6 yrs! So im going ahead with it!!

First thing i gotta do is write him a letter informing him that I want my photos within 14 days or I will be taking it further,. Hopefully he'll give in at some point so it wont have to go to court!!!

I definately agree with that, what a twat for messing you around, he deserves all he gets if he doesn't cough up and deffo claim for compo to, its not on xx

yeah he prob does. the thinig is from wat ive seen so far of the pics i dont really like them anyway so im not too bothered bout it that way but them pics were the last ones taken of my mother in law before she took poorly.

the bloke i spoke to at the comsumer advice said i dont have to explain myself why ive took so long so thats a good thing.

im gonna get as much money outta the guy as a can. wat a knob! x

I'd push for a full refund plus the pics! You might not like them but they are of your wedding and you deserve them!

i know im going to. iuve just been reading up online of a few people who have issues with him in the past. Turns out one couple have taken him to court and he owes them money but he is refusing to pay as he is saying he is out of business. But apparently he is now trading under a different name!!
