| ive jst read that in eastenders over new year ronnie find her baby dead - had died from cot death and she then switches her baby with kats bcos she is so grief stricken but come on how much tragedy is eastenders gonna put ronnie thru?? surely they cud have jst let her have this baby and be happy?? they are hoping to raise awareness about cot death which is a great thing for them to do as so many babies do die from it but did it have to be ronnies baby the poor girl goes thru heartache after heartache |

| OMG Thats so terrible. But like Kats not going to notice??? From the min Caitlin was born Id have been able to recognise her. At breakfast in hosp we all had to wheel babys down in their clear cribs and not once did I stand pondering which one was mine, nor did any of the other mums. |

| yeah she is preg in real life and yeah im sure kat wil notice straight away that its not her baby when she finds the baby dead although they will prob play it out that she finds baby doesnt at first realise and thinks its her own then it will be noticed, plus ronnie must run off cos surely jack wud notice the baby wasnt theres so then it will prob go on to a hunt for ronnie and kats baby!! will be a huge storyline cos the story line will prob turn out to be finding kats baby but i jst think give ronnie a break lol wen i was in hosp we got breakfast in our bay and left our babies in the cot nxt to our bed but cud was only sat a foot away from evan but yeah i wud never have gotten confused if he was lying nxt to another baby boy lol |

| I've been warned about this, I definately wont be watching! It's ridiculous tbh, as if you wouldn't recognise your own baby!
I'm actualy fuming with the charity fsid, they have been quoted as saying the are geatful for their accurate portrayal!
I'm sorry but I have come to know alot of angel mummies and not one of us has ever thought of stealing someone elses baby, we want ours not somebody elses! In my opinion it makes all of us look like nutters that people should keep thier babies away from! |

| Totally agree with olliesmummys point! Obviously some people have reacted in that way, but its not a normal reaction and I hope it wont be portrayed as such. I know its different, and Im not trying to compare, but if I lost Caitlin 2moro I would want her, not another toddler. Each LO is unique and to be cherished be it in life or in memory. The only reason I would think to avoid a woman who had lost a baby, and I hope my friend mummylaura doesnt take offence, is the risk of upsetting them. I know this is silly as obviously people like yourself and laura are upset anyway. I dont think I did avoid Laura seeing Caitlin, but if I did it was subconcious and genuinely out of care & thought for Laura. xxx |

| Aww hun, I totally understand what you mean! When I was in hospital my sil asked if we minded if she brough tour niece up visiting, she was 14 months at the time and I appreciated the thought but it's not like seeing a baby is going to send me into a breakdown or anything.
I understand where the fsid are coming from becaus eeastenders is raising awareness more so than any leaflet or campaign ever could, but while a very small minority migt have done this, 17 babies are stillborn or die shortly after birth everyday and 300 sids cases happen every year so how the hell they can describe it as an accurate portrayal I'll never know! |

| I totally understand your point, by the statistics you have said if it was an accurate portrayal then at least 300 babies would be switched a year - which doesnt happen! I dont think the story is reassuring or helpful either from the point of view that Ronnie has experienced tragedy over and over again - rape, incest, forced adoption, miscarriage, sids. Surely they should be reassuring women for once & showing a happy ending. If I had 2 wishes this new year it would be that you & Laura have healthy & happy babies this summer. xxx Ps I'l always be an Eastenders addict though, I cant help it! |

| is it really something that people need to raise awareness for anyway... I mean every signle mother is terrified of it happening to them and they go and put it on Eastenders to raise awareness... I'm not sure it is needed they should concnetrate on things that people don't know about like unusual syndromes Poor poor ronnie though I knew somethnig bad was going to happen to her baby because she never gets a nice story |

| I'll still watch EE as well snoops, I'm a bit of a soap addict lol Just avoiding these eps!
I know a few angel mums that were accused of killing thier own babies by family and friends, so I think the storyline will show people that it can 'just happen' so in that sense raising awareness is good but it's also going to scare alot of people.
Christmas is obviously the worst time of the year for people who have lost children, I don't think it's an appropriate time of year for this storyline at all |
