I used to boil them then mash them with some formula. Mine were always really gloopy! Caitlin was almost 7mths though I suppose so didnt have to be really liquidy. Keep trying! x

If it does come out too gloopy thicken it up with a bit of baby rice, thats what I do, I cook various veggies for Drew in only the smallest amount if water then blend the veggies and water together then thicken. I always keep the water with the veggies cuz when you cook them the goodness comes out so by keeping the water you are keeping the vitamins xxx

just wanted to say ... I think I remember (or it may not have been you) but did Eli used to have constipation problems? because cooked apple will bung him if he's prone to it... it's the pectin in it . I thought apples would do the opposite but no... they're a bunger If it wasn't you then apologies

lol sorry but at least you know it is probably the apple. we stuck clear of apple for a while... pears will help him go! or a little diluted prune juice or something. I'm sure he'll be fine tomorrow. I had to monitor Tylers pooh for ages OI was terified he'd have trouble again even now I worry a little bit if he hasn't poohed (I hope I get over that!!)
