i love messy time we do these on different days painting, glueing, colouring and stickers cant wait to go collecting leaves and sticking them. We made a pen pot the other day made out of a loo roll holder and feathers stuck on to it.

Spending about £20 - £30

PostSubject: Re: Christmas Present help    Christmas Present help EmptyTue Nov 16, 2010 8:34 am

Well as I will have a 6 month old girl and a 2 year old boy at christmas I will list you what I have bought them:

Hannah
Fisher price stroll along walker with dolly
Fisher price sooth and glow seahorse
'Thats not my...' books (Dolly, Princess and Kitten)
Playskool explore and learn activity ball
Name a star bear
Baby mickey and minni soft toys
Vtech book
Clothes

Thomas (birthday and christmas)
Easel + paints, chalks etc
Car garage with loads of little cars (always a hit with two year old boys ive found)
Mega blocks
Train set thingy that goes with mega blocks
Mini work bench with tools
Henry hoover Very Happy
'Thats not my..' books (dinosaur, car, plane)
Jigsaws
Thomas tank aquadraw
Thomas tank coal loader (like a train set thing)
Noddy remote control airplane
Roary car
Picture/letter jigsaw flash cards
Cd of kids songs
Clothes

Sounds a lot but everything was reduced and a lot were half price from places like toyshop.com, argos, toysrus. Think the most expensive was hannahs walker at £25 and everything else was under £15. Hope some of that helps?

xx

his mm is quite picky she only just uses the asda own nappies because she thinks they are too girly as they are called little angels lol so a toaster and kettle is probably too girly and not boy enough

Im glad im not like that with gracie she has the handy manny tool kit and when daddy has his drill and screwdriver out she is there next to him drilling, hammering and screwing and if she cant find the right screwdriver she shouts fippie (philipé) lol

I'd buy him pyjamas - sounds like toys aren't a good option she'll just lock them away invade he plays with them Wink nice pair of jammies and slippers - you can't go wrong, xx

You could get an aquadraw so he can do the painting/drawing thing without the mess. Lily now loves hers and spends ages playing with it at the mo x
