Well I managed to get my psychiatry consultant changed after my last appointment. I had hoped I would be re-referred back to the consultant I had seen earlier this year. To be honest I am pissed off as I have been referred to another new consultant by the looks of things this must be approaching the 10th different doctor I have seen in the last few years.

Every time I see someone new they go over the same things and take my history all over again, can they not just read my notes. Tbh I am close to just telling them to shove it and going it alone.

Well I emailed my psychologist who is amazing and so supportive. He advised me that it is in fact another new consultant (male) who is very experienced. At least I am seeing the main man for my 1st appointment rather than an SHO who looks about 12 lol.

I suppose another fresh pair of eyes on my case is a good thing, as my last consultant was more concerned about pushing folic acid than addressing real mental health issues
