i've had it quite a bit cos i open all the things i want to read in different tabs then reply, so sometimes i reply to two things really quickly...think its always been around?

Do you mean the message box that says do you want to modify your reply as someone posted while you were typing?

I get that alot as I type slow/think to much about my response

yea thats when i got it .. but i have had this many times and its never popped up lol

This isn't flood control - this is 'Display a notification when new replies are written :
You'll be warned if a reply was posted while you where writing a reply to the same topic'
Which is set in Profile - Preferences

Flood control stops a new post being made for 10 seconds - so stop spamming bots. So if you posted and tried to post again before 10 seconds you'll get the flood control message

I see. I quite like the modify option , just wish I could type faster! There have been times Iv totally changed my post because of it/added something else.

Also it lets you see that others have replied which you might miss otherwise.

emma u posted the same thing twice in my banks post, was it then u got the error msg??!

I really like the there has been a reply option, it stops me feeling like an arse if a question or something has already been answered

Ive had that couple times think its where i do it to quick and then i noticed its posted twice xx
