why oh why do some brands 'scent' their loo roll?!

For what purpose is this?! I do not sniff my loo roll before or after use and couldn't care less if it smelt of paper, or as this one does weird manky hand cream - I only sniffed it once I saw it said scented, and to be honest it smells awful.

Also...'added lotion' WTF? Why do I need to moisturise my bum?! Its fine as it is thanks I don't tend to think my bum needs a bit of cream on it

Honestly, I don't get it, didn't see what it said on the packet, just picked the colour I needed!

I usually got for the 'lotion' ones as I am still having problems with my tear and I find the 'lotioned' ones are softer
I have no idea why they are scented ( our current ones are ) You can only smell it if you sniff the paper.
Maybe it scents your bum so you don't smell like poo! xxx

I don't know, I don't even think anything like 'oh thats nice' or 'ewwwww' I just sometimes have to look before flushing it away for no apparent reason whatsoever

i dont go for coloured or scented bog roll ,,, purely cos i dont give a shit ( pardon the pun ) what colour it is cos i live in an ex raf house and every single bathroom in the estate has the same grey floral tiles that if you even tried to take down and replac e would mean me loosing my bathroom ,bedroom ,hallway and/or possibly outside wall too !

I used to use Value/Smart Price until I had Flick then I went 'upmarket' because of my stitches

I use Tesco (not value) or Andrex if on offer.

As for checking after I wipe... yup I do! No shame in it! How else do you know you are good to go?
