In pain

Dunno if its sciatica or spd but got pain in back,hips and bum. Tried to stand on one leg to change trews earlier and cudnt bear my weight

Also got pain in my right side under my ribs. They told me last time it was gallstones then right at end decided itwas liver pain from the pre-ec and ive had a scan this time that said my gall bladder clear.

So uncomfortable can hardly move

the standing on one leg sounds like spd, thats how mine started! How is you bp and urine? x

Bp spiked upyesterday to 150/90 again but back down to 13/80today. 1+protein

I felt like that for weeks before they diagnosed SPD which has become very very painful as time has gone on. Hope you feel better soon x

sounds like spd - although as soon as you mention anything to do with 'back' to mw / gp they may say 'hmm spd tends to be more pelvis / pubic bone' - (errrrmm I know where it chuffing hurts!!) My physio is very understanding though and quickly pooh-poohs that idea confirming that you can get pain every which way!

1st time my gp reffered to physio, this time the mw was able to do it which was much easier. It's more like a counselling session though tbh - with a couple of pointers and exercises to try at home

You've prob heard of the usual stuff like sleeping with pillow between legs, keeping knees parallel, not crossing legs, bearing weight evenly when standing... a plastic bag under your bum in the car helps to swivel in and out instead of do a wide side-step, eeee there's more but stop me if you know it already! I do know that falling full whack on stone paving doesn't help it though

lol that is about as helpful as smy OH saying " well don't get up" I don't think this is viable for all day

My gp first time round gave me a prescription for enough paracetamol to kill a horse and the pysio sent me away with some tubigrip and the words 'come back if you need crutches' cheers then

Cheers guys,it eased a bitover night but have begun aching as day goes on. Dont think its helping c wants crried everywhere at mo after being ill so have had tantrums today cos shes wanted 'Upt' all day and ive kpt it to minimum

Gonna mention ribpain to mw as if gall bladder fine might be worth montoring as they said it was a pre-ec syptom last time

Well back with a passion today Cant even carry my own daughter up to bed cos it hurts too much to pick hr up so daddy did it tonight
