I swear Aimee has it!

I am a very tidy and clean person, but I am relaxed around Aimee and she has toys everywhere in the day, etc. and I just clean them all up at night. I like a clean loo (I have a real issue with dirty loo's, lol).

Anyway, Aimee is always walking around trying to find 'bits' on the carpet that she can pick up and give to me. She does it at my mums and my MIL's too.

She also gets her shoes, toys, pencils and basically anything she can get her hands on and lines everything up in a neat and tidy line. Even things like tea coasters have to be 'square' and cant be messy.

I hope this is normal!

Lmao - finally Laughing

I thought it was just my little man. He has some really weird obsessions..at first I used to take it with a pinch of salt but then he started getting high-rate/upset if things weren't 'just right' Rolling Eyes

Thankfully it has calmed down a bit but he still has his moments.
Like you i'm a tad OCD about certain stuff and things have to be just so! So i'm assuming its them just copying or picking up on our 'obsessions'
I think its just a normal stage Very Happy

My Lo is the same, any tiny piece of dirt and she will pick it up and bring it to me, When having her Bum changed and you give her a clean wipe to hold she will wipe her mat, walls. cupboard etc,
Even to the point of if she spills some juice she will wipe it up, even if it only with her hand x

Phew, I'm glad it's not just Aimee.

I'm sure in 10 years I will look back at this and wonder where my 'tidy' child went.

Ollie likes picking things up and either putting them in his toy box or putting them up somewhere like the coffee table. I found it strange to start with but now I just think it's really cute Laughing
