| I've got my sewing machine and I want to make some bandana style bibs, i'm after kitsch style childrens fabric, japanese style and owl fabric , I've looked on ebay but was wondering if there's an alternative? |

| the only one i can think of - that isn't cheap though, is john lewis, they quite often have some really lovely fabrics. we used to have a great haberdashery nearby but it's all gone now |

| Ebay tbh is the best place I have found
Mainly cos a lot of fabric shops trade on there - so you get a good choice. The fabric shop in my town has a shop on there, so I can see what they have in stock before going lol |

I've never used the online service as there's a massive shop in Liverpool and one in Chester. It's quite cheap and it's where the professional dressmakers/curtain makers go. I'm not in either of those catagories and usually just go in for bits. Buts it's great!

xx Oh yes they normally have loads of stuff! I went 8 years ago and had forgotten about that shop! Not 100% sure but I think it was the Mosytn one I went too |

| My mum took me when I was planning my wedding, i cant remember what we went for but spent ages rooting! They are great for patterns too |

| theres a great shop in washington called dainty toys which do all sorts of fabric etc if you fancy getting out and about? x |

is it anywhere near the galleries, that's the only place i know in washington. |

| yeah its the next turn off after the galleries as if your coming from shiney row roundabout and going towards gateshead. its in the same inducstrial estate as Tonia Anne/Gavin Scott bridal wear if youve heard of that? x |
