I just stuck my hand into the 2 blocked drains outside and pulled this minging gooey stuff out.
I have done as much as I an as it stinks and I was feeling sick
What is the best way to get the rest of the gunk out and get rid of the smell????

I think the best way would be to get a drain unblocker solution to help you get rid of the smell, or a shed load of bleach maybe? No idea how to get more out, I'd have got a man in I think x

or maybe try flushing it with loads of water in the hope whatever is blocking it shifts itself along. If you have a hose pipe maybe try it with that x

Yak! I'd have man in too (usually my lovely dad). I usually buy a load of cheap bleach a couple of times a year and empty a full bottle down each drain.( the best time is if you're going away, so it can work without getting flushed away).

mr.muscle drain unblocker is quite good, but bleach will probably do too

Liquid Drano..or..you can now buy a canister of compressed air if you dont want to use chemicals. Sink traps and drains are the most disgusting things I have ever seen. Defo use bleach to disinfect after. xxx
