How you getting on with the decorating?

Mine seems to be going on and on and frikin on!

I think I've just about nailed it, and then realised I haven't done the ceiling...but can't finish it til Dan moves his weight bench and the cross trainer out!

Then once they are out and ceiling is done I need to finish top edge of wall paint....then do the floor and skirts.

My hands are now speckled with paint from rollering the ceiling - really didn't want to do it but my nan had a log burner downstairs and the constant smoke from it (was a bad burner!) made all the ceilings look filthy, but I didn't realise how bad 'til I had painted the walls!

All the furniture has arrived and is assembled downstairs lol - that was an attempt to get Dans arse in gear if he saw it all piling up...but so far all he has done is take the empty cardboard boxes to the skip Laughing

Its never ending :-(

When we finish we can put photos up - Im going to add a forum for nursery/kids bedroom pics...not just to show off our ermmm painting skills lol but its always good to get ideas from other peoples rooms!

that leaves 3 walls and the chimney breast to do. we have a paint pod and it broke so only swapped it this afternoon and thats what paint is for the 3 walls, its a pale pink colour and the chimney breast is going to de dulux sexy pink

Thats a lovely pink!
I was going to do the chimney breast pink and the rest the toffee cream, but in the end did it all toffee cream! its like a pale yellow!

I have painted Izzys stuff with white satin too - same as skirts! hehe we are doing it all the same! the dressing table took ages as have to wait nearly a whole day for the 1 coat to dry - and I am weird in that I have to paint every where - even the underneath and inside the drawers etc Laughing so yeh thats taken a while!

I also have everything ready - all piling up in our room - only thing not got is the mattress cos its not exactly flat pack!

Ive done it all myself - Dan did a bit of polifilling and sanding but hasnt touched the paint!
