Does anyone else wonder the difference between netbook and laptop?!

I had no idea lol! Til we were looking for my mum a couple of weeks ago and she asked a guy in the shop

The only difference is a laptop has vents on the side so when its on your lap it can cool properly - a netbook however shouldn't be used on your lap as it has vents on the underneath so can overheat and damage the insides if you use it on your lap!

Just looked at dell uk and dell canada..and they are more expensive this year than last year!! I guess netbooks and mini computers are the hot item this year...seems everyone has jacked up their prices for them.

I thought a netbook was used basically for just the internet and is smaller and doesn't have the same power as a laptop

Yeah..the dell mini's didn't come with a cd drive and are mainly used for surfing..and small download files like itunes.

It so frustrating when they put things on offer and theyre sold out. they had a train my mum was after for my neice went on sale in argos a day later and it was sold out you would have thought theyd have a biggar stock.
