and we really can't go out because it's about a foot deep now, but i'm running out of things to do with elijah, he is trying to 'help' with everything (typing included) and i still can't put him down without him crying....

what can i do to entertain him??? i need to eat and do some housework haha usually by now we would be out having a walk or something! then he is tired and has a nap til tea/bathtime...but no he is grizzly and bored, and so am i!

U in Dundee to him? It's absolutely mental eh! Evan doom my head in he has spent the day whinging I've had him out in snow but kept fallin and didn't like it

yeah we are in dundee. don't really want to take eli out in the snow cos he's still little, he has finally given in and taken a nap! but yeah its crazy out there, i'm hoping hubby makes it home from work i think if he's on an early tomorrow they will try and make him stay overnight boooooooooooooo!

Arwyn's slept most of today and yesterday. we watched the snow for a bit then she played on her mat but she's still full of the cold.

still? uggghhhhh i bet she got snotbaby's plague, glad elijah missed out on that. we have done stoires, watching mummy do housework, rolling on floor, bed, couch, being sick, pulling mummy's hair, watching t.v, played and chewed everything haha

at least if he sleeps for a bit he can have some tea and a bath then daddy might come home (i hope!)

i wouldnt have took evan out if he was any younger either, we jst had a walk to my parents only round the corner and i helped my dad clear the snow in his drive took 2 n half hours evan only stayed out for a little bit tho then he went inside with my mum
it was a waste of time cos snow is same now as when we started lol

hahaha yeah i have seen people outside trying to clear outside their doors but obviously it doesn't last long enough to bother hubby didn't drive either, i think he walked halfway and a bus turned up (i didn't think they would be running). i can't wait for elijah to be big enough to frolick around a bit though

OH abandoned our car at bottom of street and walked to work, don't know how he's getting back

he was dayshift, 8-6, but he's got home now. he's away to dig out the car

haha theres definitely no point it's still snowing! what's he gonna do drive it up the road to get snowed in again hahaha hubby is supposed to be finished at 8 but i think they got a lot of emergencies this weekend (orthopedics) and i think he's on an early tomorrow...any idea if the buses are running?

ppl are saying to check the courier facebook page cos thats where it was announced the schools were off but i had a look and cudnt find the proper page!

if youre in dundee you might be as well with the telegraph? not sure my internet isn't working very well so can't check. i would imagine they will be off unless there is a big thaw overnight - the buses are off so they can't expect people to travel to school!

i found the couriers fb page but its jst saying schools r closed and nhs 24 are struggling to get doctors out on visits,
no place has confirmed the buses yet but i reckon they will be off if snow continues they were off all day today

yeah my hubby had to walk to ninewells and is on his way back now - i suppose it would have been terrible to phone in sick but he said they weren't too understaffed
