This is gunna sound really stupid but is it painful when you ovulate?

Painful in what way hun? I get ovulating headaches and I swear since having Hannah I get slight cramps as well - is that what you mean?

some ppl get really bad pains when they ovulate

they say some ppl feel like a crampy pain when they ovulate i personally didnt ever feel any pain but i know ppl def can

Slight cramps, erh..am not a wuss but this is real uncomfortable. Its like muscle pulling and have got back ache with it.

I know it probably sounds odd, but I haven't been taking my pill this month so I don't usually get this. It kinda started a week or so ago, just slight niggles and just assumed it was ovulation niggles but tonight its really obvious

i used to know before i strted depo and it was really uncomfortable like being stabbed with a hot knife

I'm not aware of feeling any pain or discomfort.

I feel sometimes a "pinch" ..but some months can be worse than others. xxx

I've got it more to my right, low down pulling.
We're not really ttc I just forgot to start my pill again after my break I'm blonde <<<< thats my excuse and i'm sticking to it!

sometimes you can get cysts on your ovaries that are painful. I think every woman has experienced this at least once. it feels like a build up of pressure like something is going to burst. and when it does..you actually feel relief.

Oh, so its quite normal then?
Its more than a niggle/pinch..just generally uncomfortable..it pulls/aches when I move/cough/sit down

i sometimes get a sharp stabbing kind of pain, not sure if its ov or just one of them things tbh my mum gets bad cramps around ovulation...guess everyones different x

Right - I THINK it was 5th Nov - last pill, 9th Nov - AF arrived then it was anywhere between the 12th-15th Nov we jiggy-jiggied..OMG my memory is so bad..it clearly can't have been that memorable

hmmmmm I would suggest it could be period cramps, but seems to have been going on too long and maybe a bit soon, although stopping the pill can mess up the cycle, so anything is possible!

It does feel like AF cramping, but its only been 2wks since af finished

I know when I have messed up my [pills I have started again sooner than i should - also somethings can bring it on early when not on pill.

when I was on holiday this summer I started a whole week early - very inconvenient! It was really hot so not sure if that made it odd!

Ovulation can cause pain hun.....its called 'mittelschmirtz' sp????, quite literally it means 'middle pain'

Yer, it could be that. I'll just give it another couple of weeks and see how we go
