i have been demented stuck in the house all day, usually we go out for at least two longish walks, the snows so bad now I can't get the pram through it, i was contemplating the baby carrier but i'm scared incase I slip when wearing it. Somebody take away all this bloomin snow

i agree jo. its about up to my knees when i go outside. i had to brave a trip to tesco in chester le street today to get some food in cos our cupboards were bare but i left alfie with my mam. we took him out yesterday and ended up dragging his pram backwards!!!

It is awful isn't it - I wont take the pram out in the snow - not only is it awkward but any grit will rust the metal unless its washed off really well!

Im lucky that Izzy doesnt mind being in the house at all - it does however mean that mummy has to do more dancing than usual as she refuses to let mummy sit down while she dances!

my OH said i'm not allowed to leave the flat til thursday and i wanted to go into town tomorrow! i'm also due my next depo injection by wednesday but too scared to walk or drive downhill to the docs.... if they're even open..... oh well, no sex then!!

yeah im the same...we went out to tesco for an hour on saturday...but otherwise i haven't been out all weekend. had a 3 hour walk on friday but now im starting to go properly mental and its just too snowy/icy to take little one out....bleearrgh

ava's just at that age when she's into everything, she just doesn't stop all day, going for walks is a bit of respite for me. i may have to invest in a sledge

How much a toboggans or baby sleds over there? If it's mild out..babies love to get outside all bundled up on a sled. xxx

its definitely not mild here, driving snow etc but i think if elijah was a little bit older like ava i would try and get him out...i know what you mean though, elijah is demanding 100% entertainment, amusement and attention just now, its knackering, i cant make him go to sleep in the pram just now!

i plonked ben and alasdair on the sled and went a walk round the estate ! they loved it. bungee strapped the car seat to the sled and voilla!
