| I dont know if I would feel the same after having 5 but at the moment I do get soooo broody. I find myself staring at newborns in town, looking at tiny baby clothes when I should be looking at 12-18mths, going through old pics of newborn caityboo, feeling jealous and tearful at times when I hear of friends expecting their 2nd..... I suppose its an instinct & it probably stays with you no matter how many kids you have. You're still young too so you body knows you could. Id say its normal hun.
I didnt enjoy my PG though. Loved knowing I was growing my own lil baby and feeling kicks etc, loved the anticipation/name picking/growing tummy BUT hated the horrible sickness/backache/no nights out/hormonal rants at OH. Also wasnt so keen on the 2 hrly feeds and exhaustion the 1st few months of having a LO.... Oh and not forgetting the labour!
See I talk myself in and out of being broody on a regular basis! |

| Yes, I feel like this too. I'm too old for another so it's tough though. (don't actually think I'm too old this minute but it takes me years to concieve). Anyway I'm having these mad urges to steal this little black duckling from the park near me. I take ellie to feed them all everyday but this new little tiny black one is so cute. I just want to grab him, and put him in my bag and take him home! Is this wrong? |

| Laura, big families used to be the norm. In our family line we have at least two big families (of 13) - you have a long way to go until you look crazy in my eyes That aside, you must have your hormones running around like billy-o and your body probably thinks having a baby in there is the norm Do your kiddiwinks sleep? Just when we get on a good run little man decides he needs to wake in the night again - I can cope with most things but the broken / lack of sleep is driving me nuts, and that's with just one! I always thought we'd have at least 3, but although I am almost forgetting the dreadful morning sickness - now I'm moving onto spd - and it's not the personal toll but the affect they have on bean - and when next little one comes along I can't imagine being out of action with sickness/immobility due the impact on them (if we had no.3 - which isn't looking likely!) Some mums could pop them out but not care for them as you do, it's not how many you have but how good you are at the job No help at all there but I think you and mara and anyone juggling that many wee ones well deserves a medal at least xx |

| I feel like this far to often, i think I could easily have 6 kids if I could afford to do so! I'd love to have atleast one more so then I'd have three of my own and my oh's son. I can't see me not wanting more, and at only 27 I can see me having many more if I don't rein this broodiness in!
My boys are my whole world and the love I have for them is just unral, I want to feel that as many times as I can!
Not even the sleepless nights and dirty nappies put me off coz I'm slightly nuts lol |
