my throat is really hurting not sore but really painful it hurts when i swallow and hurts when i turn my head to the left just had a look and my left tonsil and left side at the back of my tounge is covered in white ulcers. I have had it loads but normally all over what i am worried abou is it is mega contagious and i have been kissing gracie i hope she dont get it.

oohh i dont envy you, i get ulcers in my throat when im run down and they bloody kill feels like swallowing glass. im sure gracie wont catch them if theyre that far back?? x

Oh no chicken, get yourself to the docs and gargle with some salt water asap. I'm worried that I'm getting something similar as my tonsils are hurting. Like you say not sore but painful

thank you girlies i am going to phone docs asap in the morning and i am going to go and get me some of them anti septic strepsils

it is so so so contagious once when i had it i had just the one ulcer on the tonsil and marc was floored for 3 weeks with it it attacks the back of the throat and tonsils hun you only have to breath over someone and they can get it x

awww hun i have exactly the same at the mo. been plagued with it for years i have got 2 pus ulcers in my throat, my neck hurts and i can hardly swallow. went to doc this morn and he gave me antibiotics and co-codamol for the pain - big hugs, i really sympathise xx

its doing the rounds then i have suffered with it most winters from the age of 12 so thats 14ish years but never this bad i think its more painful because of it being one sided i might take some codydromol then for the pain x

same here this is the worst ive ever had. the doc said its ok to take ibuprofen as well as co-codamol//co-dydramol. the pain is unbearable, its exactly like swallowing broken glass i hope Cerys doesnt get it either. she has a nasty cough already so i hope it dodges her - sending hugs, can i have some as well though lol x

i think gracie will have got them as she refused toast but ate porrage, refused sandwhich but ate noodles and refused fishfingers but ate thick soup. so i think she has a sore throat as as such will demand the doctor looks at her throat too x
