Bit of an oopsy _
PostSubject: Bit of an oopsy   Bit of an oopsy EmptyWed Dec 01, 2010 12:52 am

Someone drove into back of our car today. We were going into town and in a queue of traffic and the queue started moving. Neil held off moving forward a sec to gie the car in front some space and the numpty behind assumed we were moving off and drove straight into our bum.

Luckily it was v low speed. Caelyn was fine, in fact when the car hit us she shouted DONK!!! She was all bundled up in her alpine suit and strapped in well to her seat and didnt seem to have even moved. Car seems fine, slight scuff to paint and bumpers a little loose but was loose anyway its just a smidge looser now though in no danger of coming off so we decided not to do anything further about it as would have probably ended up costng us money.

Im a we bit achy though, had been turning to look at C and hips and back are sore anyway from the spd midwife thinks im developing so did ache all way round town but got nowt else planned today aside from a walk to park once shes up from nap so shud wear off later hopefully

Hows snow treating rest of you?

Oh no!!! Are you sure you're both OK hun??

As for not claiming, it's the other guys fault so it wouldn't actually affect your insurance if you do decide to claim, I know you said it's only a few scuffs but that could affect resale if you ever got rid of it.

As for the snow, well I just wish it would feck off TBH Laughing xxx

I had a bump when I was preggers and for that reason I went to a&e as I was worried about my baby. I did end up putting a claim in and also has physio, the physiotherapist said that the base of my spine was injured due to impact (really was only a little bump) I'd just put the pain down to pregnancy.
Anyway I got £1800 which really did come in useful during those few months if mat leave when you don't get any money.
I wasn't trying it on for money and would never have claimed only for my hubby nagging at me.
