| oh christ, i usually avoid the word 'bored' cos it always makes me think of procrastination haha but honest to god, i have completely run out of things to do with elijah.
we have a bedroom and a living room and its really too snowy to go out...i cant think of anything to entertain him with now (or myself) and sadly he isnt interested in tv haha. i am going to entertain him with putting laundry away but that's it im all out of things to do then.......
what can we do?! its still snowing heavily so not safe to go out (and COLD) and hubby wont be home til 9....help help help! |

Izzy always loved her heuristic play stuff - maybe if you haven't already you could get him a box together? http://www.littleacornstomightyoaks.co.uk/Articles/Treasure%20basket.php thats good for ideas |

| That's a really interesting link. How i read it was 'from sitting unaided until 16-18 months'. I did something similar for Immy with a metal mixing bowl, wooden spoon, rolling pin, etc, she used to love making a racket! Does he like being read to? Maybe read him a trashy magazine and let him scrunch up the paper? Immy always liked the Simpsons when she was ickle. Or failing that put some music on and dance around and sing to him! |

| this is how we feel in Cyprus for 2-3 months of the year when it's too hot to go out... Im not exaggerating either its over 40 outside. not safe for a baby at all. We ended up buying loads of new toys for Tyler because he was so bored... what about messy play mari get some paint let him play with it... or corn flour in water... give him some safe things from the kitchen to play with any plastic tupperware containers or things like that to bang around. sit in a different room with him for half an hour or so, read a book to him show him your wardrobes lol anything |
