i still feel 19 anyway so it doesnt make much difference to me. it shocks me more when we talk about people we went to school with say a couple of years older and you realise they are 35

I think I'm generally just feeling a bit shit as I feel like Dave's given up on us. I just feel old, fat, ugly and usless. Turning 30 is not helping the situation at all

I turn 24 on the 12th and feel so old esp because I have a baby

Thank you ladies, you're all so lovely, don't know where I'd be without you all.

I wish I could wind things back to when Amelia was just born as things were great then, I just don't know how to get things back to that point. Dave and I just seem to be making each other miserable. There isn't a reason either, our personalities have just been clashing for the last 4 months or so. There seems to be a lot of point scoring, moaning and hurt feelings flying about. I'm stubborn and stroppy and he won't talk so I get frustrated and say things I don't mean and he broods over everything and avoids working at fixing things. For example the last couple of weeks have been ok but then the night before last he slept in the spare room and went to do so again last night, and he wouldn't tell me why?! So I get wound up to the point of wanting to scream and he just gets annoyed as he's tired and doesn't want to talk. ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry for the massive rant I'm just so frustrated that I could explode and just walk out leaving everything behind. This has turned from me moaning about turing 30 to a big rant

Ah Lisa of the G - you're a lovely girlie who certainly isn't any of those things you feel; although it seems less to do with being the number 30 but more to do with stage you feel you're life's at + other stuff going on?! Trust your instincts and I hope things are clearer for you soon. Aren't you away to Manchester for your birthday by the way - hopefully that'll perk you up a bit. xx

30's was the best decade thus far for me too! You finally figure out who you are and what you want, and aren't afraid to ask for it! I think of 30's as when the rose bud finally begins to bloom. You look fabulous not a day over 23! As far as the rest of it hun..you will figure it all out..your smart..good looking..and extremely hard working and an excellent Momma! xxx

Oh dear :-( Being 30 aint really that bad, but I know its everything else that's making it seem like an unpleasant milestone, had everything been rosy you wouldn't have thought twice probably

I dont know what to suggest about Dave, as you know I have similar issues with Dan, although thank goodness not got anywhere near this point, I think I'd have killed him already if we did

Lisa - just wanted to ditto what the other girls said. I turned 30 last December and I hated it!! It was worse cos I knew then that my 20s were def over...then I wondered where the hell they had gone!!!

Anyway last year I wasnt thirty I was twenty-ten!!! LOL

Aw hon. TBH turning 30 was just another day for me, Id def rather be 30 than 20. I have my own life and opinions and im not afraid of the world like i was back then plus my gorgeous girlie. It will all seem ace in a few months trust me

As for dave id like to smack his chops with my riot fish really hard. He has no idea what a numpty hes being turning away and acey person like you, i may have olnly met you once in person but i thought you rocked x

Lisa I think you're spot on, if I wasn't having a crappy time with Dave then it wouldn't be an issue turning 30 (well not as much lol).

We've got a bit of time off together next week and the following Monday so that might help and then it's xmas so I'm hoping that'll bring us closer together. Plus I'll be able to have a few drinkies with will help lol xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
