Was just posting in pg and remembered I meant to ask you this!
When I went to be checked out after fall, the doctor was really thorough and checked bump, wrist, arm, hips, back, head etc.
BUT - why on earth did he check behind my ears?!

Apparently whatever he was looking for was 'great' and he moved on to other checks including calf muscles, sight, memory with asking Qs... think he was playing for time anyway while baby was being monitored but STILL - what's with the ear thing?!
(hubby said it was to make sure I'd washed there )

It did give us an amusing distraction at the time meg - which was welcomed!!

Did you hit your head? Bruising behind the ears can indicate a basal skull fracture

Yep - that'd explain it. Banged my head on my cheek bone - I had a lovely red / swollen mark by the time I got to hospital
