Errrrrrrm sent the OH out to get some steak for tea i.e rump or sirloin and the numpty has come back with casserole steak Can i still fry it (its 3 steaks) or should i put it in the oven etc etc - please help !!!!

casserole steak will be really tough if you fry it, i would stick with a casserole in the oven.

right i think im goin to put it in oven and see what happens - yeh i thought frying might be too intense for it - i asked him why he bought it and he said because it was a thick and tasty looking bit of meat Thanks hun xx

lol yea i would wack it in the ovn, add some gravey over it too, and kinda slow cook it. it will be alot of softer x

Stick it in the oven with some onions and mushrooms,a couple of oxos and some thyme if you have any and cover with water for at least 2 hours. Then thicken it up with gravy granuals. Yummy

Home made marinate will make boot leather meat soft. Baking powder, soy sauce, sugar and water...let it sit in it for at least 1 hour. xxx
