Hi ladies, well as you all know my oh has just started being a first responder! Anyway he went out on a shift tonight which started at 4pm and they are supposed to be 6 hour stints. It's now nearly 9 hours since he started and he hasn't returned yet and his mobile is off!

Now I know he will most likely have a perfectly good reason why he's so late, but 1.I am worried about him as i can't get in touch and 2.the whole idea was he did 6 hours and that's that!

Grrrrrr!!

With the weather atm Id say it was probably pretty normal & nice of him to stay on (though he should still let you know what he's at!)

Not to scare you but my OH turned into a total knob the last 10-12 wks of my pg, literally goin on the piss every weekend - 'to get it out of his system'. I was not amused! He admits now it was a shitty thing to do - particularly because he also went out 3 sats in a row after Caitlin was born, to celebrate/wet babys head .

16 mths later it is better though. He never drinks at home & goes out once every 6-8 wks. Men can sometimes take a tad longer to grow up!
Sounds like you have a good un hun! Even if he has had a sneaky pint it doesnt mean its all downhill -well once LO is a few wks old they tend to click its a forever thing

Yeah, he got in just after I made this post last night, thinking about it now...I was just being a hormonal stroppy pregnant woman haha!

He said everytime they went to stand down they got another shout which obviously they just cant ignore and they also did save a man who was having a heart attacks life. xx
