All of a sudden Stephen has started grinding his teeth! It's horrible and it sounds like he's doing it really hard! So far I've just been distracting him with something every time he does it to stop him, but is there anything else I can do? Has anyone elses lo done this and how long for? Thanks xx

lilly used to do it loads when her teeth came through, i think the pressure of pushing there teeth together eases any pain they may have!! although lilly still does it occassionally at night she grew out of it after a few more teeth came through! its also a new sensation for him so he prob likes it, it wont do any harm though xxxxx

Its normal and probably no point distracting him..cos its him finding out new stuff, he has new teeth and they make a new noise and feel new! So the longer you distract him the longer he will try to be working out what they are all about It is an absolutely horrid noise though, makes my skin crawl!
