ive just seen the new ad on tv - it made me well up its the song that gave me goosebumps. its "I'll stand by you" I think its by the Pretenders. Very clever advertising yet very sad

I have to admit that as soon as RSPCA,NSPCC etc ads come on I turn them over as I can't bear to watch x

I'm the same Emz although they are the two charities I always try to give to when I see a collector

oh god yeh, the animal ones make me hide behind my hands. I have a regular standing order to the RSPCA

I try not to watch them tbh.

I used to get upset when the RSPCA used to pop leaflets through the door with 'Smokey' the kitten who got set on fire.

Motherhood has turned me into an emotional wreck.

I am a bit of a sucker for chartities though... I give £5 a month to the British Heart Foundation, then I have to make sure I dontate to cancer research and then the RSPCA.

oh i welled up to that advert , big time ,,, i stopped donating monthly through my bank to charities but will donate items to the charitity shops , collectors in street etc

It always comes on as I'm doing my eye makeup and then makes me bawl and mess it all up.

I've not seen it but the other one sets me off so will have some tissues at stand by for when it does

just seen it again - i just shiver. the song is so apt

they make me sooo sad , yet so mad , as too many times we forget that so many kids live like this ,,, i wish we could save them all

i know it just breaks my heart - poor innocent babies x
