The other thing to be careful about is some companys make you list seperatly things that you take outside the home eg my company made me give full details of my laptop. They never asked about my mobile though? You prob need to ring them up

It may not be worth it, by the time you have paid the excess. You can always take it to Apple who will give you a brand new phone for £140 x

Nope, it doesnt matter, they will exchange it for a new model exactly the same as what you have got. My OH has gone through soooo many iphones and we are always having to get them replaced. (he is crap with laptops too, which we are always having to claim on our house insurance for!) x

You would need to have personal belongings cover (or sometimes called all risks) which is usually an optional extra on home insurance. Really you need to double check your cover hun xx

Even if you've got accidental damage hun you would still need the extra personal belongings/all risks cover, it's almost like a separate section like buildings cover - if you havent got that then I dont think it will be covered (although does depend on your insurer) xx

I'm with Direct Line and their Plus policy covers literally everything - and you dont have to select it separately, its just part of the policy, but like Susan says some policys you have to select each section, like accidental damage/personal possessions/emergency/bikes etc - so need to check policy carefully |

I got free phone insurane through my bank account. It's Natwest advantage gold account. It's worth checking with your bank. I also get travel insurance and breakdown insurance.
