I have an 80's fancy dress party to go to on Saturday but cant decide on an outfit so thought i'd ask you all what you thought of my choices or if you have any other ideas.

The first is more 70's I'd have thought

I'd fancy something like leg warmers, floaty shirts (white or checked?), fingerless lace gloves, hair ribbon/bandana, big earrings and bangles...

That or some white electricians tape over your nose and a military jacket a la adam and the ants

Places like market stalls / cheap clothes shops are good for gloves / leg warmers / tutus (!) jewellery etc. Paired with things you can use again like a wide-striped black and white t-shirt or some top with a print on, or leggins etc. so you're not paying for a 'full' outfit?
