| i think its been posted before elsewhere, but we have been using elijah's sangenic nappy wrapper bin (minus the cassette) as a nappy bin cos we had it in the house - but now the lid doesnt shut properly and makes our bedroom smell like wee any decent nappy bin recommendations??? |

| Anything thats airtight, has a removable inner and has a lock/fastening of some sort
I actually have a huge stainless steel bin, that would have cost about £60 if I got from a kitchen shop...but it was advertised as a pet food bin lol as it has a see through lid...£10! |

| The normal cheapo buckets don't have lockable lids, just sit in the top - so risky for little ones who are nosey! Also the bucket type are tiny 14 litre and overpriced when they only fit 1 days worth of nappies in!
http://www.charliesdirect.co.uk/products/simplehuman-40-litre-slim-plastic-pedal-bin-grey 40l is about 3 times the size of the bucket type, doesnt have inner though - would do for 3 days (thats what I do but depends how many you have) You'd want at least 25litres to get 2 days worth in
Mine is 60 litres, lol its huge and I can fit 2 loads of washing in there! Never gets full though! |

| yeah we are usually 2 daysish, maybe 12 nappies with a full size and newborn booster in each so it needs to be quite large, and not let smells out! we are moving in a couple of months so im hoping i can find somewhere better for it to go! i dont know what you mean about an inner though - we just put the net in the bucket?? |

| yeh the inner is like a plastic inside to the bin that lifts out, so don't have to carry whole bin downstairs - a net works with small bins but not so good for bigger ones, well that's cos I couldn't find a big enough net! |

| I have 2 bins, ones a cheapy one I got from mothercare. The lid fits snug although its not lockable, but it doesn't let odour out unless its full and the lid won't sit on it. Then we have a metal pedal bin (with an inner) at the bottom of the stairs. Got this one from £streacher for next to nothing and again it doesn't let any odours out. We had the trouble with our LO getting in the bin so now it just lives in the bath, but he does know now that its 'poooooo, smell!!' when he takes the lid off Why don't you go for a tall one like this? Then at least it doesn't take up to much floor space, but fits more than a days worth in. Alot of these types have inserts, so easy enough to carry to the washer. |

| ^^^ thats like the 2 I have, one is too small, like a bathroom size one and the other (my beast) at 60l is a tad too big!
How big is yours from £stretcher Zee? I have one in town so might go a mooching see if they still do them in a middling size! |

| Not sure in litres, but the metal pedal one isn't as big as my kitchen one but not as small as a bathroom one lol, maybe 16ltr'ish My 'propa' nappy bin is only about 12ltr , but combined I get a good 3 days. |
