Little chicks 1st night in her big girl bed. Its been built for 2 weeks now so she gets used to it in her room and finished up unboxing everything yesterday in her room to turn it into a double nursery so theres nothing in there she can fiddle with.

So explained it to her this morning and again this evening and at bedtime her daddy and i took her up together and popped her into bed, tucked her in, put her music on and kissed her night night. Then i left the room, shut her gate...and promptly burst into tears

No noise out of her since she went to bed though can hear her disney playing. So shes eother gone straight off to sleep or shes hacking nasa using her vtech laptop under the covers with a torch

Emma C seemed quite excited to be honest, we have been building her up to it all day telling her what a big girl shes going to be. Shes got her nice warm fleecy jammies on so should be snug and warm. Its a low bed so only got a rail on one side and a duvet on floor on other side

I have this to come next week sometime (when the mattress arrives and she has been used to the room)

I hope she takes to the bed as well as C has!

Dummies are gone, in a big bed. Shes getting so big so fast. Its all scary. Bottles and potty left to go

amelie has been fine too this is her second night im leaving the cot up fro a week then i will prob cry dismantling it and selling it well done c x

Aw Em. C's cot willbe used for daytime naps probably this week as shes not good at daytime naps she tends to fight em, then im gonna put Awen's moses basket in it so she starts getting the idea its going to be 'baby's' new bed

Thats not terribly difficult lol. She told me i was a monstrosity at dinnertime (well 'strosity) - i really should stop calling her that as a pet name lol as she also calls me beast back lol!!!
