Well yesterday the boiler packed in and the bloke came today.
A few months ago someone came and replaced the belt when it stopped working and today the bloke said he had put a USED one in and it was knackered. So he changed it and found that the gas valve had gone and it was peeing gas out
He can't get the part until tomorrow so no heating or hot water until then
Went to MILs this afternoon for a shower and to bath Flick properly - who had a bath in the kitchen sink with hot water from the kettle as a major poo happened.
She is staying with my stepmum tonight as out house is freezing and they have hot water and heating.
On the upside I have an interview tomorrow to go into care work Will be min wage but I will be getting qualifications and my advisor said that it was looking very positive that they would offer me a position
I will have to wash in the bathroom sink with warm kettled water but I am so excited, I had an £80 voucher for work/interview clothes for Peacocks and spent £76 so got loads of jumpers and long sleeve tops - which were £6-£8 and new shoes - without holes
Will post when I get back from my interview. My advisor said to talk about my depression/hearing and other difficulties as the more 'issues' I have with getting into work without their help will only increase my chances xxxx

Good luck with the interview! Thats good they give you some dough to get new outfits...cos it would be hard if you been outta work for ages to get something together!

When I signed up to them they asked about benefits and I told them Dan's working fulltime and gets WTC and CB but they stil let me have the allowance as they are not in my name - well not just mine and they know that
Bloody good job too as I needed new tops and jumpers but have been too skint

The only problem is FIL seems peeved that I am going back into work
I swear he thinks that Dan is forcing me to go back into it, which he isn't, I need to get back into work to get a bit of myself back xxx

Ignore the fil - as long as you and dan are happy and flick is cared and provided for in a manner your happy with go for it!
I worked full time when I had my eldest, my mum childcared! It is hard work especially full time but you get through, you have to organised but you manage

TBH FIL kinds freaks me out.
There was a church Fayre that I said I would help MIL with her stall and Dan stayed home with poxy Flick and me,MIL and FIL went for lunch and he kept staring at me
He looks at me a lot and yes we get on well and share jokes - MIL is kinda slow but it still kinda freaks me out when I catch him staring at me

Whenever we go to oh parents there drinking or already pissed that's scary!
Funny thing is James doesn't particularly drink nor do I so it creeps me out!
His stepdad is a starer and he used to be a secondary school teacher I wouldn't want him teaching my child boy or girl !!

MIL is a bit of an alky and FIL keeps an eye on how much she drinks. He is kind of a control freak and really dodgy. A few months after we moved into our current house he 'found' a brand spanking new armchair for us. I scrubbed it so it wa clean ( was in perfect nick). We got rid of that chair and our sofa a few months ago as my stepmums friend was buying new furniture for her living room and her 2 old sofas were in goog nick so we had them and got rid of our old ones. Then a month or so ago FIL 'found' a brand new fridge for us. We were in dire need of one. Our old one was minging beyond repair. Then said he had a couple more if we knew anyone that needed one
Was in town with MIL last week maybe week before and FIL called her and said her 'found' Flick a bike. I don't know what they are called but they are the newish ones with the long handle for parent to push x
As much as I appreciate what FIL has done for us, he has helped me and Dan out with money I can't help but wonder, He met MIL through dating ads in the paper and admitted that he has been in prison but won't say why They have been married for over 10 years and MILs till doesn't know what he was in prison for xx
