because a) yum yum thats nice food mummy
b) i want to play with the spoon and if i eat it gets closer to my grasp
or c) once the bowl is empty i can play with it

im becoming convinced that elijah's motives for eating so well are a little scewed

lol..well Izzy is of course much older, but no, there is only one reason she eats every scrap of breakfast....she is hungry..starving lol after 12 hours sleep!

Izzy doesnt eat anything for any reason other than she is hungry, which is kinda good, but frustrating when I *think* she needs to eat but she isn't hungry!

i reckon that's really healthy! god, i wish i only ate when i was hungry

oh and rub it in about the sleep why dont ya hahahaha

I try not to rub it in lol, but Izzy is honestly so good...sleeps, eats, rarely ill, well behaved....I do however know I will pay the price with my second..which will be born upside down and backwards..wont feed, does horrible shites 6 times day every day, hates food, hates me, wont sleep, pukes, walks, talks and argues back by the age of 4 months...its going to be the devil baby!

Umm in our house its more like...umm ill empty my bowl first....then drink the milk from the bowl whislt spilling it every where then she puts the cereal back in the bowl and eats it, strange kid!

danielle has porridge every morning and she starts laughing when she sees the bowl coming , the dummy gets thrown and when she hears that ping of the microwave she stares at the door awaiting it comig
she scoffs the lot but i reckon cos she is starving as she is very fussy with every other meal

Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day for this very reason - porridge or similar, no fuss, yummy yummy, all eaten up
We've even taken to eating it on the setee as it's not messy and saves lugging out the highchair (folded away as he can scale the thing in two seconds flat!) so now he sees the bowl and goes jogging off to sit up there ready with a giggle and a smile!
Lunch and dinner can be slightly different - and the dramatic faces he can pull at some foods / textures never cease to amaze and amuse me - you'd think I was trying to poison him xx

thats like danielle , we have started having her breakfast on the sofa ,, she snuggles right into the corner awaiting not so patiently

not messy! you girls are crazy! porridge hands, porridge hair, porridge ears...i have to use a cotton bud to get it out of his nostrils!
