oh no 1st aid pls!

argh i was snipping eli's nails cos they are insanely sharp (with a baby nail clipper) and he pulled his hand away just as i snipped (i thought i had it tight enough) and it has snipped his finger - there is a horrible little cut and a sort of blood blister cos it has caught the end of his finger!

the poor little babies face! it is bleeding a bit - is there anything i can do?????? i cant really put a plaster on it.........argh i feel awful Sad

maybe, im just not sure theres much point if his hands are never out of his mouth (except when his mummy is cutting his fingers off Sad

) he is still crying but i think he saw my face which made it worse!

Awww I'm sure he'll be ok, he'll be fine in a minute, it's just you that will be traumatised Laughing

I put a plaster on Stephen's finger once and he kept putting it in his mouth and it came off because it was so wet (thankfully not in his mouth Shocked

) so if you use one just keep an eye out! xxx

it stopped bleeding, he just has a little swollen blood blister - cruel cruel mummy! and i was only trying to stop him scratching his eyes out Laughing

oh well, he has finally given in and fallen asleep...i will just have to guiltily explain to daddy when he gets home boooooooooo

baby scissors aren't sharp at the end, i snip as much as i can then file them

I nipped Izzys finger when she was new Embarassed

Then I used a file for months til she was old enough to be told to hold still

I use baby scissors now which are fine
