Hi everyone,
I havent been on since having Joseph really give you a quick update on us, hopefully some of you rem me
Joseph has been suffering with colic and god knows what (had screaming for 3 whole days last week none stop) but have now started giving him the odd bottle with baby rice in and he is a completely different baby. I did try everything else, diff bottles, teats, colief, infacol, dentinox, changed his milk,massage you name it I did it and he was having none of it. But now his tummy has something a bit heavier in hes so much better. Obv not everyone would agree with it but I was thinking Im willing to try anything and it couldnt be any worse than it has been. Other than that we are all ok, Hannah is a sweetheart with him shes sooo cute its lovely. Shes teething still at the min, and im still struggling with getting her to sleep in her own bed but I think thats going to be a constant battle till she's ready to go in on her own/ or stops teething, as until 6 months (when she started teething) she had no problem sleeping in her own room.
Ill update my birth story in a bit, its a bit boring though, swear I only pushed 3 or 4 times
Hope everyone else is well and nearly ready for crimbo? Im not still got tonnes of pressies to get (but im always like that)
Hopefully ill be on here loads more now and can catch up with everyone properly

Sounds like you had a rough time but glad joseph seems to be better now. Callums a nighmare with teething aswell so i can understand the stress with hannah and bedtime with it xx

Ahh thanks for replying girls I was worried no one would (lol what am i like)
Its been a nightmare but hopefully we coming out the other side of it now, ive had 2 days of no crying so far (since starting the rice bottles) still get the colic at night,between 9 and 11 but think that will go the more bottles I give him with rice in, but dont think ill do that for another week or so.

you do what you must for your children ,,,,im not one for guidelines at best of times
my mum used to put stuff in my bottle when i was 2 weeks old , im sure it was custard powder as i was a wee bugger x x x

Oh wow congrats Laura how you finding it? its hard and tiring but def worth it so far for me God ive got loads to catch up on tonight.
Hannah had colic but not as bad as this Joseph just seemed to be in constant pain, my hv is lovely but can never get hold of her, shes left me to it for the last 4 weeks, im not going to tell her as she will prob go spare, but hes my child at end of day. I weaned Hannah at 11/12 weeks and was going to start Joseph at 10 weeks but have decided to give the baby rice a go in bottle 1st and then in about 3 or 4 weeks will be starting to give him it on its own. The same as with Hannah he seems to need something heavier in his tummy for the wind to grab onto (if that makes sense).
I cant believe how much ive missed chatting to everyone, I just havent had the energy to come on, I would of ended up talking more crap than normal my brains been that fried with it all. Thank god Hannahs so good and chilled out else think i may of been sectioned by now.
