My OH deserves that tw@t of the day award!!

First off we had both Jake and Aron's nativity plays today and there was no point coming home between so we went to the cafe at the school for a cuppa and something to eat! I asked him to get me a ham sandwich and a packet of crisps, so the div only goes and gets me a baguette and no crisps! Not a major problem but just fed up of him not listening to me!!

His big fluff up was tonight! I expressed 3 oz for Rhys so he could have a bottle and I could have some sleep! Put expressed milk in fridge and explained to OH how to warm it up! Fed Rhys myself at 9pm and came to bed! So Rhys was due a feed between 11 and 12, and OH normally comes to bed about 1am! Well it gets to 11 and I am woken up by OH asking me to hold Rhys while he sorts the bottle, so I think fair enough it's the first time he's done it and a wiggly screaming baby and hot water don't mix! He gets bottle sorted and I pass Rhys back to him and OH says I am coming to bed when he's had this!!! I mean for FFS that defeats the whole bloody point of him having a bottle! So I say this and cue OH having a strop about it!! He is now snoring his head off and I am awake!! Ended up having to give Rhys another feed myself at 12 to get him to sleep!!

Apologies for the length of my rant, it's either that or murder!

hmmm typical male me thinks, want to do things how they want, never listen oh how the list goes on.....my oh deserves the [email=tw@t]tw@t[/email] of the year award!!

thats why sometimes i think im not going to bother to ask him to do something as he will either not listen to what needs doing or does it wrong!

Aww oh dear. My hubby never listens either, think its a man thing!.

Write it down for him routine / time wise - including the "I will be asleep" bit - pictures will help too

oh dear.. i think all men are like that thou.. the amout of times i told perry how to makes paiges porridge n he STILL gets it wrong x

maybe it was becuase it was just the first time, men don't tend to tak to these things naturally! make sure you keep doing it, practice makes perfect.

mine says i have he would do the night feeds if i wake him up when she wakes.

erm, not much point then is there hence why i mixed feed, Bf is so much easier than doing a bottle at 3.30 am!

He knows he fluffed up majorly as he has texted today saying he will walk home from work!! Which reminds me he still hasn't apologised for not listen the other day about me picking him up from work!! Although tonight I wanted to pick him up as we need to get some shopping!!

Will try again with feeds tonight but I can't wait for my mum to come back as I think it's the only time I will get the sleep!!
