Oh hun, it prob sums up how crap my day has been that I saw my name on this message and burst into tears!! Thankyou so much for thinkin of me!
Yeah, it was this morning, and everything went spot on. Good presentation, answered all 'my grilling' well..................and then they pulled the surprise IT exam
Well i tried the exercise, and failed it miserably!
So I got the call at about 4pm to say that No, on this occasion I hadnt been successful.
I was telling my BIL about it this evening though, and was explaining the task. He then said 'what job was it you went for'.....and I said 'Computer services manager for the department'.............at which he burst out laughing and said
'Jesus Christ Lise, you failed the test.......that was like going for a mechanics job, and asking wheres the steering wheel'
But to add insult to injury, my OH was upto the 3rd stage of a recruitment process to get in with a big company, and he was also told today that 'he wasnt being taken any further'
GUTTED, GUTTED, GUTTED
