| am due to see my gp on Friday as she wants to keep an eye on me now I am med free and she was ill for my last appointment. I am going to ask on Friday to be referred to a fertility specialist. I am terrified that she is going to say no as it won't be a year until January but just want to get the ball rolling.
It may be July before they see me and not sure I can cope with this as the uncertainty is really taking its toll. I am so scared there is something wrong. I even mentioned adoption to oh the other day but he said with my mental health background that isn't really an option. Just feel like I need some certainty one why or the other |

| Hun, I know it's easier said than done but you need to try and relax a little, if she won't refer you until January it's only a month away and with Christmas in between it will fly by. Even if she does refer you now it's unlikely you'll get an appointment straight away. Sometimes the stress and worrying itself can be enough to stop you from conceiving.
Without wanting to sound harsh, and I do know how you feel, having been there myself, but you need to stop letting ttc take over your life, I know how much it hurts when you want a baby so much and it isn't happening, but they can do so much nowadays that there is very little that can't be overcome, when I was in your position I made the decision to stop obsessing and take a what will be will be attitude and I was so much happier, and in the end without any medical intervention, Chloe was conceived.
I'm convinced it will happen for you in the end, but you need to relax in the meantime too xxx |

| Remain positive in all thinking hun. I know..easier said than done, but it's been proven that pma does increase fertility...and not only that, but affects everything daily in your life. Put one foot in front of the other and continue, but try to see things in a more hopeful and positive way. You should be proud of all that you have overcome. Hugs hun! xxx |

| Well I was at the doctors today and she agreed straight away that she will now refer me for further fertility tests am so relieved even just to get this hurdle over with. She believes the waiting list is 3 or 4 months but I am fine with this we have made it 12 months so another 3 or 4 is nothing. She advised me they will probably do an internal scan and if oh's tests come back ok they may do a scan with a camera.
Now just to persuade oh to have his little guys analysed |
