Woo hoo. Well since devolution our grades and pays structure have been undergoing an assimiliation exercise. I got my letter today and I am now 4k a year better off. They give us the option of staying on our current pay scale or transferring to the wider civil service payscale, 4k pay rise was a no brainer for me.

Even better it won't come through until March and will be backdated to April this year. Happy days at last loyalty has been rewarded

Aww thanks girls forgot i was on virtually no pay for about 3 months so won't get as much as I thought but hey anything is a bonus, will be good having a few extra pounds in the wages every month. Means when bubba comes along going part time may be more of a reality.
