Any way....how much do you give them? £5? £10? Or a gift voucher or chocs?? |

| I've never done it before but was seriously thinking about it this year. I have done practically all my christmas shopping online this year and we must have had at least 4-5 parcel delivered each week for the last few months (some huge) and they have all had such a tough time recently with the weather and our guys have really worked hard from what I've seen. However we have about 5 or 6 different ones that come here so I don't know what to do - just tip one (the one that comes xmas eve)? buy a big tin of chocs and drop off at delivery office? Jo/Susan - what would Adam/Simon think? xx |

| Yeah thats a thoughie Debs, Simon has been doing his round for a good 8 years and is rarely off (only for holidays) so his 'customers' know him really well and because he literallty runs around they see how hard he works. Erm I think the box of chocs idea is brilliant but I think I would hand it to whoever comes on xmas eve as if its a big delivery office they wouldnt go very far. Oh and Simon is always chuffed with chocs - he got a bottle of wine the other day but neither of us drink (I dont even when not pregnant) so he's going to give it to someone else. xxx |

| I've never really tipped the postman before, but this year I was thinking the same. For the past 6mth now we've had a new one and although he comes across a right missery sometimes, he's done good trudging through the snow recently and getting lots of parcels to my door, especially all Olivers party goods which arrived bang-on time even though we had a foot of snow out there I wanted to get him some choccies, but then I was worried that it'd be extra weight he has to carry till he finishes Then I have the dilemma that he doesn't actually post to my door, my post box is on my 7ft gates so don't even know when he's been |
