Cerys has a stinking cold Her nose is like a tap. I noticed some streaks of blood in the snot earlier. Do you think this is normal for a cold or something else. Ive got to see the doc tomorrow anyway so will ask him to check her out as well. Have you had this before with your LO's? x

I havent had it with Caitlin before but id occassionally have it when Iv had a bad cold. Iv always assumed iv blown to hard and burst a blood vessel (probably utter rubbish ), or iv scratched/picked at a bogey (tmi lol) and got a small cut up there. Mention it to dr. Im as curious as you as to what the cause is. Hope cerys better soon. x

Wudnt worry overmuch hon, the blood vessels in the nose are under strain when you have a cold and blowing or sniffing too hard can cause a tiny one to pop, it heals its self but you get a bit of blood in snot then. Or shes been mining for gold a bit too over eagerly. If its just streaky snot its nothing xxx

We've had this with this cold for the past week Also woke one night with a bit of blood on his pillow / bedding. Only a small amount is enough to worry though isn't it? But think it's par for the course when they have a stonker. Hope the snot clears soon for both of us! xx
