Some of you may have seen my FB status, but we've just had 'santa' going past our bungalow on a tractor with music proper blasting out and knocking on peoples doors asking for money, why the hell dont they come when the LO's are going to be awake????

I answered the door and I politely told them it was a ridiculous time to be doing it and now I'm angry with myself for being too polite

I dont know, I didnt give him a chance to tell me I think it's some kind of charity, I reckon it's the local hospital, I dont begrudge that at all but just dont see the point of using Santa when the LO's are going to be in bed, they may as well just knock on people's door. xxx

What a crummy ploy to ask for money! I have never heard of using Santa as door to door salesman! xxxx

we have that coming around ours too - last week they came. it was 7pm and they had music on full blast i cud hear them a few streets away. so annoying. was trying to settle alfie for bed too

Our local rotary club do this every year to raise money for local charities. They came down our street just before 7 this time so just caught Stephen on his way to bed but it's so stupid to do it then when the children are all going/in bed. Mind you when I was little I used to stay up to see him! xxx
