Just wondered what veg everyone else will be having with there Christmas Lunch this year, we are going to Sainsburys later to get it all in, we have already got all the turkey, yorkshire pud ingredients, potatoes etc.

Need some inspiration haha!

Roast spuds, parsnips and carrot - honey glazed for the latter
mashed potato (have to really, don't you?!)
a mix of sweetcorn, brocolli and carot battons... pinged in microwave

Desert can't decide between trifle and meringue/fruit roulade... we're not having a starter this year though so want to put the effort in - but may end up on the settee with a tub of ben & jerry's

Sorry Hun Im out for mine but in the past we've had:
roast parsnips
spouts (bloody horrible but my mother said its Christmas dinner law)
carrots and turnip/swede
cauliflower cheese
peas
carrots roasted with rosemary
cabbage boiled first then fried with crispy bacon

we're having carrots (boiled with a tablespoon of sugar in the water then mixed with butter after) mmmm roast parsnips, brussel spouts cabbage and leek, and cauliflower cheese (with onion also in it)

YUMM can't wait

and pudding i've got mince pies but I hate them so am making mars bar cookies in festive shapes *fingers crossed* and a normal sponge cake in a Xmas Tree shape with white choccie icing

i went out with OH's family for tea last night and ate all the parsnips in the veg dish

sprouts. Like little farts.

For dessert christmas pudding and brandy cream x

My mum usually does parsnips and carrots and sprouts (bleurgh lol), we have christmas pudding and custard or mince pies for afters.

Turkey, Ham, Sausage & bacon. Roast and mash potato, roasted parsnips, carrot and parsnip mash, sweetcorn, stuffing! Mmmmm

Pudding i think will be syrup spong and vanilla ice cream!

Oh I love sprouts! My fav veg. I'd be happy if they were the only thing I was allowed to eat! So for me it will be Sprouts, Brocolli, Carrots and peas as my Mum won't eat the 1st 2 and hates parsnips too

I never manage pudding as my plate is literally over flowing with roast, so much so that I tend to have a little intermission in the middle before going back for the 2nd half!

mmm sprouts are good...fresh ones are any way. Frozen ones are minging!

We have roast potatos, carrot, parnsips & sprouts. Dan did a cabbage mix a couple of years ago that was good too so might do that again

i like sprouts, my nephew calls them 'devils balls' . I'm going to my mums so i'll have to get what i'm given, think she's doing sprouts, peas, carrots and brocolli.

if we were at home i would have broccoli cabbage carrots peas and maybe parsnips but we're going to ohs mums and all i will eat is carrots and peas cos she makes everythin weird in all sauces and random stuff and it makes me wanna vom lol
