I am going to kill Dan soon! Rolling Eyes

I know he works hard but that's about it - he has driven me mad this run up to xmas.
I picked and got everything for Izzy, wrapped it all too
Been today and done the big shop, including the meal for HIS family on boxing day.

Get home and got to do the housework, tried to clean the drive of snow that's now ice and very dangerous, but not easy with a sore wrist.

I'm working all day tomorrow, in my lunch break I have to collect Izzy from MIL and take her to town as she hasn't started her xmas shopping yet so cant have Izzy all day, instead I have to bring her home put her to bed and home she sleeps while Im at work - bearing in mind Dan has done NO xmas shopping where do you think he is now?!

Snowboarding...yep he has gone up the hills

So when the feck he thinks he is going to do his shopping I don't know cos I have the car tomorrow all day and he needs to be here in the PM cos his mum cant have her

I am not suprised the way he is seeing as MIL hasnt even done her shopping til xmas eve Rolling Eyes

Anyway I am fed up of him being so selfish - he does everything he wants and sod everything else...I mean how many men would leave the driveway like an icerink when I have to bring Izzy and the shopping up it?! He wont have even thought about it.

Lisa I was just saying to Stuart the other day that the neighbours would be talking about us and saying 'that poor girl' and 'he must be a right lazy sod!'. I spent over an hr on Monday while Caitlin was out with his sister clearing the car that was covered in 8in of snow & ice and trying to clear the drive way by kicking snow with my foot. For the 1st 20min he was still having a nap (he'd been working the 4am shift so I didnt mind) he then popped his head out the door to see what I was doing and ask where Caitlin was. I assumed he had gone in to get his coat on but no! I came in 45min later to find him admiring new elasticated shoe grip things his aunt had sent him from Canada (ffs he could have had them on him and been out helping!). His attitude is - he doesnt drive! (epilepsy) OMFG how does that matter? He can still shovel snow/scrape a car!!!

Grr! I get it all the time. He seriously thinks he runs the house because he takes 1 bag of rubbish out after tea, loads the dishwasher once a day & 4/5 evenings a week puts dinner on (freezer/oven/microwave - and just stands staring at the timer the whole time Rolling Eyes ) Oh and he hoovers living room rug once a week. He honestly must think the bathroom cleans itself & that the washing fairy is a frequent visitor. He tidys away but doesnt dust/mop/wipe surfaces etc. If I complain I get the response - well I dont live here. Argh but his daughter does and he doesnt mind being here after work and for tea and contributing to the mess!!!

Hmph! This has turned into a rant sorry! To be fair I suppose he does come to Tesco with me every week, he also came with me to pick presents for his family months ago as he likes everything done early and he did go and buy Caitlin a few extra Santa bits (which I wish he hadnt cos she has ended up with twice what she should have.) I also dont think he would have gone snowboarding today if he hadnt any shopping done. Thats stupid! Hope he isnt expecting you to snap & do it for him?

Well the only time he can go is morning as I need him home for afternoon to look after Izzy...so he best pull his finger out!

He just asked me what I had planned to cook for HIS family coming for dinner on Sunday, so I said Chicken&Mushroom soup & a strawberry trifle. He was supposed to go and buy some beef, but hasn't so I thought well seeing as its just us here for xmas dinner now we can have pork or something and I'll save the turkey for Sunday as there will be 7 eating...he had the nerve to say having chicken&mushroom soup is stupid when having a turkey main...so I said well you better get to the butcher and get the beef then hadnt you!

HOnestly I was so mad...its his frikin family and still he complains with what I got - get it your self then!

You know Lisa it's his own tough tits if HIS family have no prezzies nor dinner. I'd just say to him "I'm not going to nag you but if YOU don't do it's not getting done and your family will be in no doubt who's fault it is". Dave is exactly the same. I literally had to nag and drag him to get anything, and even then I picked it. But now I don't give 2 craps and I'm leaving him to it!

Don't do it for them ladies they never learn that way...

One almighty crash on their arse and the humilation of looking a right prat and they buck their ideas up I find.

OH went out yesterday without a front door key and I knew he had. Did I take him one to work (we work in the same office) when I went in? Did I feck.

He has taken a key today so he won't need to go and ask the neighbours for one again and look a tit.
