how long did it take for your milk to dry up, its been about 2 weeks since my last bf and i've still got loads of milk, my boobs are about to take off!

I still leak now and again

Mine stopped quite soon, i only bf-ed for 3-4months though but was surprised i didnt leak when i stopped.

I bf Bethany until she was 15 months old and to be honest I would say I was virtually dry when I finished so never had any leakage afterwards but I've known friends say that for a while after they would leak xx

I went from feeding at every feed to stopping, i would say it probably took about 4-6 weeks for me to completly dry up.

i googled it and it says if you are still leaking 6 months on you should see a doctor

it took a+few months for me i+didn't have much milk to start with.

I remember+once if the shower one of the leaked when i touched it+months later x

I think it depends how gradually you stop. With both of mine i did it really slowly, and with Isla she was a year, so it was quite a natural process. I would say all my milk had gone within about a week.

i also did it really gradually so by the time i stopped my milk was more or less gone, with both of them.iv heard it can take up to 5 years to dry up compleatley xx

dear me 5 years i hope not! i was down to 1 - 1.5 feeds a day so i shouldn't making this much milk, lets hope it calms down soon.
