Aww that is not fair, surely most people would try and make sure the gifts look about the same for each of them x

Thats not fair at all! Do you think they figure she is too young to know so dont see point in spending or do you think they genuinely favour braden? Maybe they will spend more when she's older.

I may have been guilty in the past of spending more on a toy for a child that understands getting a new toy (eg branded disney toys/cbeebies toys etc are way more expensive for what they are, compared to basic own brand dolls, instruments, cars etc!) but equally I prob make it up by being more inclined to buy clothes for tiny ones... though dita aint actually that teeny anymore scratch

Thats awful, is it family?? I have this too with James parents!
James parents buy loads for Chloe (all crap) Hayden got a bag of mega blocks and MY 2 boys age 11 & 6 got a matchbox car each Sad my mum treats Chloe as another grandchild and spends probably as much although she only sees her 2 /3 times a year
We then got invited there yesterday as they knew my 2 boys would be with their dad, they collected Chloe we got there H opened his 1 present we weren't offered a stitch to eat (arrived lunchtime) we were then asked to take Chloe home on our way home Shocked we said no - you collected her, you return her. Felt bad but were in my dads car as ours died and it's not on our way home Sad

Next year I have suggested to James they come to us, at least H will be able to play with toys Smile
