We are stying in. I have never gone on NYE, mainly because pubs and stuff will be heaving and would cost so much more to have a few drinks.

we are doing sod all - havent for years, i find nye really morbid (especially in scotland, auld lang syne wtf bleary eyed drunken men holding hands and trying to slobber in your face...no ta!). not bothered about it at all

Im having party of sing star amd just dance 1 and 2 and alcohol and chinese food x spend the night at mine and we cam have a dance off and sing star battle lol x

We are having friends round for food and drinks as we dont have a baby sitter and not bothered about going out. Lisa come here and stay the night and just tell Dave you are going out and will not be back until lunchtime on New Years Day!!

Lisa if I was closer I would be up for a nite out. We are either going out for a meal with a few of our besties or else going to our other besties house. I 'm not a huge fan of NYE as i think it can be quite depressing and an anti climax but have achieved so much the second half of this year I think I deserve to celebrate. Am hoping as hubby said in my anniversary card 2011 will be our year

Think im going to a friends NYE house party. (Well unless my mum gets invited to go out and then we wont have a babysitter).

I HATE going out to pub/club on NYE. I hate it being packed (queues at toilets/bar a joke), I hate the door prices to get in anywhere, I hate double fairs on taxi's, I hate the fact that taxi's are always late/can only come at either 1210 or 4am, I hate the fact that everyone looks more glamorous than me.... I just hate going out on NYE

The party should be good although my friend throws it with her hubby who is in a football association so its all his mates and gf's, they go on nights out throughout the year and it can be a bit clicky. A few vodka's should solve that though

I don't like it, I thing it's overated!I'm happy to stay in a bottle of champagne and some good food.

We are having some friends to stay, and although my mum is now having the girlies, i think we will still stay in and make some nice food and have a few drinks. I'm not keen on going out NYE.

I don't think we're doing anything. Few people want us to have a party but I can't be bothered. i'm knackered all the time, and i won't be able to drink. I might just invite my sis round as her boyfriend has to work. I never go out on NYE, i hate busy pubs/clubs and they always overcharge just because its NYE.

were just goig round a friends for drinks. they only live along the street from us so can just walk back which saves taxi fayre and will prob get a few asda pizzas in x
