I hate this time of year more people are gettin swine flu and scares crap outa me I'm gettin a cold and that's it I think the worst I'm so scared of any of us gettin ill I make myself worse worring! Why am I such a woss and so scared of life

Im exactly the same hun, I was so scared when I had a cold the past few weeks, but ive now had my flu vaccine, so im covered. xx

Oooh is swine flu back?? I had it earlier this year and felt truely like shit!!

Quite a few people round by me have had it this last few weeks, my colleagues DIL had it and she is 15 weeks pregnant, so it scared the hell out of me, so I went and got my vaccine. xx

me and lilly had swine flu last year.. Nightmare

3 people on the island have died from it but they all have underlying conditions aswell! but they have had to make half of the theaters in our hospital into itu beds as lots of cases!!
i wish i could live in a bubble! im so so scared of life i cant explane how scared i am!

im the same hun soon as i started with the cold n cough im now recovering from it kept goin over n over in my mind please dont be swine flu i wanna live n see my kids grow up wish there was a end to all this swine flu then we could all live and not worry when some 1 in street sneezes instead of runnin outa the way lol

I'm just recovering from 'probably' swine flu. It's just the same as normal flu and if you have no underlying conditions then you'll be fine if you get it so try not to worry too much

i think im healthy lol i am such a worrier as if i get it ian will have to move out with girls till im beter as he has extreamly bad astma and suffers from pneumonia alot

With swine flu you have all normal flu symptoms with the added pleasur of headache, runny bum and vomiting you also genrally feel a lot shitter (if thats a word lol) i had it last year and never want it again x

Swine flu never left, it's just not reported as much anymore, it's the same as anything! Some people are unlucky but most are fine after letting the flu take it's course!
I'm sure you have nothing to worry about! Easier said than done but try not to panic, like you say it makes thing a whole lot worse! Chances are you'll get a cold and nothing more!

I know this is easier said than done but try not to freak about it. Swine flu is justa strain of flu with a posh name given by the media to whip up a frenzy. Its gonna make you feel crap if you get it but if you dont have major underlying medical conditions its not likely to do you any serious harm and that can be said of any flu.

Im a beggar for not getting my flu jabs done and im asthmatic but also have the immune system of an elephant thanks to constant germ exposure - i may be crap at being preg but dont seem to get flu/d and v often and havent ever had food poisoning except mild.

To be honest the stressing out is probably just as bad for you. try not to x
