how did you spend them ?

back home about 3000 people would all meet up the high street where there would be line dancing and pipe band and then the bells ,,everyone was in such great spirit and was a fabby time

now me and my friends started about 6 oclock getting our hair and make up done by each other looking out our clothes (no matter what the weather ) usually little lol
out would come our vodka and whatever fizzy juice we could get or sometimes fresh OJ if we could club together enough pennies
we would wash out our empty 500ml bottles and refill them with alcohol for taking up town , the drinking on streets ban was lifted for new year but the underage ban was still in place hahah !
would usually congregate in my bedroom , windows open music blaring and then would come the plans ! ,,, the competition to see who could get the most new year snogs up the town
looking back ppl seeing us 1 minute sucking face with one guy then 5 mins another we must have looked like right little slappers ,,, was only kissing it never went further ever !

how did you spend your new years ?

Very drunk! Considering I'm practically tee total now and have drunk maybe 5 times since turning 18 I used to be pissed constantly

I was out clubbing at 15/16 so my new years were spent getting ready from about 6 at mine, drinking a few before happy hour at our local garage club at 7! Get 10 mad dogs in for £10 and dance the whole night with friends!
Actually the best times of my life i'd say!

Usually in my bedroom on my own
I had the most awful foster carers and I lived with them for 3 years.
When I moved to my stepmums ( she's not really my stepmum ) I became myself and I finally grew

We all used to go to my friends house as she had a massive old water mill with a huge cellar. We had the run of it and it opened out onto their huge garden. Her parents were very liberal too so there was always alcohol. I couldn't face cider for about 10 years after drinking my own body weight in it when I was that age lol x

eww to this day i cant touch cider ! ,, i never liked it as a teen , all my friends drank it though
i remember one night i git the taste for merrydown cider downed 3 bottles ! ,,,, since then i have managed half bottle of magners ewww hate the stuff x

awe emz, that's so sad! I didn't know you had foster carers Were you happier once you were with your step mum?

I was in care in and out until I was 3 and then went in permanantly.
It wasn't until I reache 17 that I actually found the perfect carers. My family
Weirdly though at the time my surname was Long and my foster dads surname was Long and his wife was Willliams-Long.
