hey ladies move this into baby babble if you like, just thought i would get a few more replies here

just wondering when your little ones started crawling? elijah is still happily throwing himself face first onto the floor (oh joy!) and can roll front to back/back to front and push himself right up onto his elbows or hands....so im thinking - is he close to crawling?

part of me hopes so but the other (more motherly haha) part hopes not! so what is next do you reckon? he still cant seem to get his bum off the floor, but when he's sat up he bounces up and down til he springs forwards and momentarily is on all fours

Louis was around 8 months propper crawling, yet he managed to get around "commando crawling" from about 7 months, now hes almost walking at 9 months so far hes taken 6 propper steps and walks perfectly holding one hand ...but my son seems to have no fear thinks hes action baby!! x

well paige did that for a whikle but she didnt crawl until after her frist birthday.. i just got used to the idea of her never crawling and then she did! n then about a month later she was walking!

I think it was 7 months for Tayla, how bad i cant remember When these things happen at the time i always think wow i will remember even the date and how many days old she was but i didnt

i have been writing things down terri - bit sad probably, but I want to have the date of first tooth, first sitting etc for when we unpack elijah's baby book - even though I know he will almost certainly not be interested! I will be though, when he is bigger (when I am on baby number 10 and can't remember the 1st one )

Me and Elijah have been doing baby crawling school on the floor - everytime I go and do something and come back his is on his tummy/back/side/facing a different way/a foot from where he was....but I never see him move

Arwyn is like that too i thought she'd be crawling soon but i don't think she seems that interested now

ava started about 8 months commando crawling but after a few weeks she was at lightening speed!

hmmm i am preparing a baby pen soon! pixel is arwyn sitting up yet? I'm so impatient for her!

god, i hope eli doesn't wait til a year...although once he gets going i'm sure i will wish he had waited i have had to take up hoovering more than once a week! bah

and she hates being in her bumbo unless she's eating

Ellie was about 10 months before she did proper crawling, from 8 months she rolled around and was quite happy to do this

he is constantly straining and throwing himself around and getting annoyed! god pixel, tell her to get a move on! elijah lost interest in the bumbo very quickly too, loves his highchair though - he can see everything

hahaha! i'll tell her Auntie Mari says so!
she goes in the highchair at OH's parents but she gets bored anywhere if she's left in it too long. i don't know how to encourage her to sit

Sam was 5 months old. Deffo sounds like your little man will be off soon xx

Tyler started crawling when we were on holiday visiting my family in jersey lol they were not prepared for a crawling baby so made our life a little more difficult while we were there.. he was exactly 9 months

haha i want to be a bit prepared at least! we have a fireguard and things for my mums so sort of hoping he holds off til we have moved pixel, we just propped him up all the time and occasionally let him fall (on the blankie on the floor!), he soon got the idea of balancing haha ummm is that cruel???

Izzy was late compared to some!

She started to slither/commando crawl in January (when Dan was in Canada lol) so she was 10 months old!

Then around her first birthday, Lisa and I went to the play centre and she properly crawled on all fours for the first time!

2 weeks before she was 18 months she walked unaided...now she can run albeit not very fast and looks like s drunkard swaying around! woooop!

Imogen was 6months xx

6 months! right! competitive mummy in me is putting elijah into crawling school tomorrow

alfie still not crawling and has only started to sit properly himself in the last 2 weeks!!

hes starting to try and crawl but hes going backwards instead!

me and my mum just encouraged him every day by putting him on his belly and laying infront of him talking to him and coaxing him over with various things the same thing is working with his walking too x

It was a packet of crisps that got Izzy on the move I put them just out of reach and she wanted them!
