| If it were Charlie, i would take him and put him in his cot i think. Its quite difficult at that age because they don't understand why things are naughty, they just know that we react to things they do. When Charlie does something like that i make it very clear he is being naughty, i'll shout no at him and take him to his room, i tend to leave him for about 2 mins then i'll get him. Might not be the best idea to shout but it's what makes him listen :S |

| When sophs does stuff like that, I just move her away from me, facing away from me, ignore her for a few minutes, then get her to come back and join what we are doing. Seems to work, gives her some breathing space and time to move on. IF she keep on doing it when she comes back, i just do the same again and usually by the 2nd or third time, she sits on her own for a bit longer, comes back of her own accord and stops doing what i didnt want her to do. Doesnt always work but seems to lots of the time. I find if I shout NO it makes her behaviour worse and she finds it funny and a bit of a game. Mandy x |

| With Izzy if she doesnt listen to me telling her then I pick her up and move her away, placing her facing away from what ever it is she was being naughty with. It doesnt take long before she stops, in fact now I very rarely need to do it!
Be patient though - keep doing it til he stops, he will get bored soon, so make sure you don't give up...he will see that as a weakness and therefore know exactly how many time he has to do the bad thing again before you give in! |
